El imán oficial de colección
Official collectible magnet
Chiapas is the state where jungle, mountain, and Maya culture live within reach of each other. In San Cristóbal de las Casas, more than 2,100 meters above sea level, cobblestone streets and colorful façades hold onto a colonial air that blends with the textiles and traditions of the nearby Tzotzil and Tzeltal towns, like Chamula and Zinacantán.
Further north, the Lacandon jungle hides Palenque, one of the most studied Maya cities in the world, its temples rising through the vegetation as if stone and forest were the same thing. And toward the Grijalva Canyon, boats glide between rock walls hundreds of meters tall, home to crocodiles and spider monkeys.
It's also a land of high-altitude coffee, fossil amber, and markets where hand embroidery is still made the way it was generations ago. Few states in Mexico pack this much variety of landscape and people into such a compact space.
This magnet was made to remind you of that mix of jungle, mountain, and history. Scan it whenever you want to come back.
